2004 Honda VTX

Custom 2004 Honda VTX 1300c This bike was purchased new form Honda of Russelville in Russellville, Arkansas. The Vance and Hines pipes were put on the bike when it was purchased. About a year later I wanted to put different fenders on the bike. So, of course they had to be painted, and that led to the orange and white marble paint instead of the factory red. Since it was already taken apart to be painted, it seemed like a good enough excuse to change the tail light. One thing led to another and you see what I ended up with. The first time I rode it after it was painted, a stinking rock flew up and made a small chip in the top of the front finder. It is right on the very edge, just above the tire, a little to the left. It's small, but I wanted everyone to be aware that it was thereI trie. The pictures don't do the paint justice. The orange is a tricoat pearl paint, and the white is a marble paint with a pearl overlay. When the bike is in the shade it lookes like a deep orange and white marble. But when it is in the sun you can see the multicolor pearl overlay that covers the entire bike. The paint looks really good under street lights. The fenders are called "Undertakers" and they are made by Xtreme Revolution. They are fiberglass molded specifically to fit a VTX. The frame from the original fender is installed under the custom one on the bike. It was also reinforced with roundstock and glassed in for a little extra support and to prevent it from cracking due to it's length. It's not shown in the pictures but I do have a windsheild that goes with the bike. I leave the brackets on the bike so it can be put on and removed easily if needed. I also have the original "c" fenders that can go with the bike if they are wanted. The back fender does have the original Honda tail light and liscense plate mount with it.
