1955 2nd series Chevrolet ½ ton truck (Used in the movie Numbers when filmed in Harrisburg PA) Very rare truck with the 265 V8 engine. This truck was restored by a retired auto body technician in the late 90’s now deceased. The Cab still has all original sheet metal that typically rots out, like cab corners, rockers, step plates and floor. Fenders were repaired on front. All sheet metal was sandblasted. The emblems except the V8 symbols are all original and in nice shape. Hubcaps, rubber, bed wood, tailgate, outside sun visor, interior, front bed panel, tailgate chains, door handles and door handle scratch plates, and mirrors are all new. Engine – Was rebuilt and has about 1000 miles on it. The rebuild cost roughly $3,000.00. Radio – Was rebuilt and cost about $600.00 Radiator – Was rebuilt and cost about $500.00. Carburetor – Was rebuilt and cost about $200.00 Also included in the purchase is NAPCO 4x4 running gear. (4-speed transmission, lift blocks, front axel 8-lug, front drive shaft, shift leaver, shift linkage, some leaf springs and transfer case) and heater deluxe, extra set of heads, original exhaust manifolds and car cover that cost $250.00 new. Options on truck that cost more when purchased new in 1955. Arm rests, cab trim, rear bumper, turn signal kit, radio, outside sun visor, 265 V-8 engine, electric wiper motor, chrome hubcaps, locking gas cap, hazard light flasher, and oil filter. (Dual exhaust was added). Truck should have new tires 10 plus years old. Driver’s side window vent needs handle and heater need rebuilt and installed. Some small paint bubbles see photos.
