Here is a good 1987 Chevy 4x4 short bed truck. This truck is a project vehicle. It does run good and the four wheel drive works good. I'd originally intended to fix it up for my son but the situation has changed so that is no longer the case. Most of the work needed is cosmetic. It has the usual rust for a mid 80's chevy plus some around the wheel wells. The truck has has TBI injected 350 and 4 speed transmission. The truck seems to run and drive good for a truck in this condition. From what little bit I've driven it, the clutch doesn't act quite right but is driveable. I've replaced the clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder. This truck will need some work but the foundation is there for a really nice short bed 4x4. I would recommend picking this truck up and trailering it home. Although it is driveable, I don't know enough about it to recommend a long trip. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Just wanted to make sure there were no surprises.On Jan-15-11 at 15:29:21 PST, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: I went out today to start the truck and make sure everything was like I listed it to be. I started it up and it ran perfect for about 20 minutes then it started running rough. I replaced the fuel filter ( it was clogged ), put more gas in it, blew out the fuel lines and replaced the throttle position sensor but nothing changed. The problem seems to be somewhere in the fuel system whether its trash in the tank or a sensor problem I didn't have time to dig in that far. The motor ran great while it did. I did get a chance to check out the 4 wheel drive and it works just fine. I just wanted everyone to know exactly what they are getting before the auction ends. If anyone who has bid on it under the original description wishes to change their mind let me know. You will need to bring a trailer and haul this home until you can dig into it and find out whats causing the problem. I just wanted to be upfront and honest with everyone and didn't want anyone to be surprised. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
