Vehicle Detail

My Porsche is being re-listed due to several bidders not being able to complete the transaction. DO NOT bid unless you have the funds available for purchase and are prepared to complete the sale, PLEASE! Up for sale is my 1980 Porsche 911 SC Turbo Conversion. The car is based on a 1980 European 911 SC (I have DOT importation paperwork). It is outfitted with a 964 Turbo, steel body kit and a rebuilt 3.3 liter inter-cooled turbo engine mated to a Porsche 930 4 speed transmission. I have put a gentle 500 miles or so on the following items while breaking the rebuilt engine in: A documented $7,467.70 full top end rebuild completed 1/11/08 including, valves, rings, SC Cams, bearings, chains, studs, throw out bearing, clutch disk, CV boots, among other items. Since rebuild, the car has been run only with a .8 BAR spring and has been used sparingly on nice days and always garaged. The car brakes and accelerates as a 350hp or so turbo should. If you want more horsepower, change out the spring. I was more interested in longevity and reliability than massive power. There is ZERO smoke on up-shifts, downshifts and on coasting deceleration in gear from the upper rev ranges. The engines compression is tight in every sense of the word. It also shifts through all gears with ease. The interior carpets, seating and headliner was replaced prior to my ownership and the dash is in as new condition with zero fading or cracking. The interior is in fantastic condition. The car is also outfitted with lightweight RS door panels. and a coil over suspension in the rear. The car is very sound and incredibly reliable. It starts on the first turn of the key when cold, all the time every time. It has headers with heat via in cabin fans. The original blower motor is not present. The worm gear that drives the odometer wore out before my purchase. The previous owner claimed that it was a recent issue. I cannot confirm that. The car is being sold as true mileage unknown, although the cars condition is evidence that the mileage is under 100k and it currently shows 81,065. The car is a real stunner. I am selling the car because I need the garage space for some other ventures. More (under and over) photos can be found here: http://www2.snapfish.com/snapfish/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=6517862013/a=85632750_85632750/otsc=SHR/otsi=SALBlink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish/ I am here to answer any further questions you have. Good Luck, DavidOn Dec-27-10 at 06:43:30 PST, seller added the following information: I cannot upload more than 24 photos to Ebay and am unsure how to host them myself. If you have any interest in bidding on my car, I urge you to visit the Snapfish link above to see 46 additional photos, including the engine, underside, suspension and detailed pics of the body.
