Vehicle Detail
1970 DODGE CORONET 500 CONVERTIBLE Rock Solid, Beautifully Restored Original Recently Appraised at $35,000.00 NO RESERVE #'s Matching One of only 876 total 500's built in 1970. One of 147 383 big blocks. WESTERN CAR NO RUST This car has been beautifully restored. The interior and the mechanics are perfect...just get in and drive. Everything works....all gauges, gas, temp....I added a factory tachometer. Even the original A.M. radio works perfectly...driving this car is like being in a time warp. Everything in the car is rebuilt or replaced, just turn key and drive anywhere! The car is amazingly solid...no rust, not even surface rust anywhere. All original floors and trunk pan. The paint is in excellent condition with no problem areas anywhere. I have paper photos (not digital) of this car in various stages of restoration. Interior is new and in excellent condition. Glass is excellent, as well as the weather stripping. The convertible top is new and in excellent shape and works perfectly. It has hood scoops, hood pins, 383 Magnum emblems and a 500 rear tail stripe to enhance it's appearance. Most of the cars were built with a 318; this is a rare find with the original 383 v8. This engine now has a 4 - barrel intake and carb. The motor was rebuilt, it runs perfectly, no smoke, and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts perfectly. New tires and new dual exhaust complete the package. Absolutly no disappointments with the condition of the car or its originality. The fender tag , radiator support ,trunk lip and engine #s all match !! I also have a file full of records for repairs dating back to the early eighty's and receipts for thousands of dollars in parts. *Please note wood grain sreering wheel will not be included with sale of this car,the orignial rim blow steering that is orignial for the car and is in perfect condition will be on the car. If you have questions, or more photos are needed, send me an email - the car is stored/garaged at home so it is easily accessible.
