Vehicle Detail

This car has had two very careful owners and has always been maintained (since its warranty expired) by private contract with the head technician at the local dealership. My wife drives it daily and there have only been the usual wear and tear problems to deal with since we have had it. I purchased it from a friend and know how well he cared for it. It uses no oil between services and runs like a clock, There have been a few minor collisions that required body work and the air-bags have never deployed. The paint is otherwise original and we have only used Mercedes-Benz replacement parts as they were needed (exhaust, struts etc.). The interior is very clean and has never been exposed to smoke. There are a few minor wear marks on the left side of the drivers seat. The car is equipped with a 10 CD player rather than a cassette player. Two items do not function and I have chosen not to repair them because of cost and the fact that they are of no significance to the drivability of the car. The "elliptical" mechanism on the wind-shield wiper has worn out and so the wiper blade traces a simple arc. The rear window sun shield no longer deploys properly but the cloth there has been protected from direct sun and is in excellent condition. There has never been any water damage of any kind.Serious buyers can contact me for any details I omitted to deal with here. The sale will will be final so please check on everything before you bid. The Kelley Blue Book price for the vehicle is $10,500 and that is my Buy it now offering. I think that this car, which will soon reach Classic status and of which only about 500 were originally made would be a great restoration project for an enthusiast, not to mention a great everyday car.I would require cash or a cashier's cheque for final payment and a $500.00 nonrefundable down-payment from the buyer at the end of the auction and that could be arranged with Paypal.I will also help with delivery and shipping in as much as this is practical. I am very easy to get along with.
