I purchased this gorgeous fastback 5 1/2 years ago. I flew to Littlerock, Arkansas and drove her back to Salt Lake City,Utah with no problems. She had been restored back in the 90's but I decided to give her a major restoration so I 1st started with taking her to a reputable bodyshop ( will show pictures). As you see in pictures, I had them take out all body panels, glass, weatherstripping and trim off b4 the painjob. After the painjob I took her to a reputable mechanic and had the engine fully restored/rebuilt. I had mechanic take the transmission out and sent to a transmission shop to be rebuilt of any flaws and install a shift kit. Driveline and rear end was sent to a reputable rear end shop, driveline was balanced and rear end gears were swapped to an Eaton Limited posi with 355 gears. After all the mechanical was reasembled , she was taken to a professional muffler shop and both mufflers, pipes, and tips were replaced new with Flowmasters. Numbers matching Motor,transmission, and 9" rear end with a Marti report. It is an M code which is a 351 Windsor 4V. Original wimbleton white exterior color with the blackout hood treatment. All gauges work including the original tachometer, clock, rimblow horn, and turnsignal indicators on hoodscoop. Engine is the original with same vin # stamping and has been thoroughly rebuilt with new pitons.valves,timingchain,lifters, etc.. I had a brand new complete dash installed so there are no cracks or scratches whatsoever. She came with air conditioning as stated in Marti report (a/c works, just needs freon). Heater core was replaced brand new and works great. She runs and drives Perfect! I want a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours after auction ends and balance to be paid within 7 days of auction end so please get all funds in order before bidding. I would like to share a few details that I answered so that the rest of you will be informed as well. Yes this vehicle does have a free and clean title and yes I do have a clean Utah Title which is registered under my name for over 5 years now and yes she has current registration till end of Janruary 2011. Yes she has front power disc brakes ( brake booster, master cylinder, pads have all been changed). Yes she has power steering. Yes all electrical and lighting works/functions properly. No she does not have rust issues whatsoever. Yes I would drive her anywhere with confidence ( but since the restoration I mainly have trailered her to car shows). Yes this vehicle is a true Mach 1 with matching numbers of the engine/transmission/rear end (I do have the original 3.00 gears of the rear end that will be included).Yes I have the original pop-up gas cap that will be included with car.
