This truck has not run for some years now, but this 1949 F-1 Truck is otherwise amazingly complete. It ran when we put it in storage 20 years ago. Originally used on a Minnesota farm until I purchased it in 1979. It was drivable for years after that. I sold it to my dad as a restoration project for him after he retired. He stored it and never got around to restoring it. This is your chance to pick up a nice original Ford F1 pickup truck. Sheet metal as you can see it very nice. Majority of the trim seems to be there. Engine is a Flathead V8 with oil bath air cleaner. Four speed non-synchro transmission with Granny low. Wheels are heavy steel 16 x 6 Standard. Accepts modern tubeless tires without a hitch. No radio but it has a heater, a common delete at that time. Dash is in good shape. Instrument panel and gauges are orginal and in great shape. Seat and roof liner need to be fixed up. Cab is in fine condition, the floor is solid and intact, but has rust. Truck bed is solid; the sides and tailgate have some rust but are also solid. All other sheet metal needs only minor rust patching as do the running boards and front panels but overall solid. Finally, all door handles, logos and trim except for one hood logo (right side) are intact but need replating. Study the pictures and see if this is the kind of project that you are looking for.
