Vehicle Detail

Classic Style! Mercedes Badge! This 1964 Mercedes 190D has got great lines, and a sweet disposition. This car is a driveable project car: it's got great character, new upholstery and starts easily. I bought this car a year ago, and used it as an 'on-island' daily driver, but now need something a little easier to drive for a commute, so away she goes! A rundown on the car: Original 72HP Diesel Engine Odomoter reads 16,XXX. I don't know if thats 116,XXX or 216,XXX. I doubt that it's 316,XXX. The car was garaged a long time before I bought it, and I went ahead and replaced the fuel lines on purchase. The car is largely stock, including the original Becker radio. It has some undercarriage rust, and needs new window seals. It could probably use a new radiator. Turn signals work, dash is lighted, speed indicators, etc. work. Needs a new driver-side wiper arm Center of dash powered items including radio and cigarette lighter don't seem to work, but it could be a wiring issue, or just a fuse, haven't checked. Defrost fan is broken Comes with Mercedes repair manuals, one of them looks to be original Comes with original owner's manual(!) Seatbelts have been added, could be removed easily The car is painted blue, but the original bisque color is peeking through in places. This thing is a blast to drive, and tons of fun -- if you like to look good in an old diesel wherever you go!
