1978 MG midget Here is your chance to own a fantastic MG Midget. This car is super clean and original. The past owner said he had bought the car from a man whom had the car stored for years in indoor storage and drove it very little. The car is said to have just 46,000 original miles, and by my observation I would say that seems right. The car looks very nice in person. The paint still holds a shine and the convertible top is mint. Inside the car appears like new. It’s very very nice! The gauges all seem to work, horn, wipers and the car has a nice stereo with great sounding JBL speakers. The engine runs very well, no smoking no knocks. Its appears to have been rebuilt recently but I have no receipts for the work. The transmission shifts very nicely as it should and the clutch seems strong with no slippage. However the car comes with a extra brand new in the box clutch and pressure plate. The brakes feel fine and the tires are near new. The car comes with a brand new never install dash cap. There is a very very small hair crack in the dash. The car also has a mint condition Tonneau cover and convertible top boot. There’s also a nice spare tire and wheel in the trunk. On the trunk is a deluxe luggage rack. The body of the car is very straight. There is one small dent I noticed on the drivers side fender. However the car comes with a replacement fender. Personally, I would leave it. It’s not that noticeable. The original floors are solid and trunk pan. There is some light bubbling under the paint down low in back of the front tires and rockers and I noticed one hole in the drives side wheel well. You can fly in and drive this car home. She’s ready to play! My Classic Car license plate does not go with the car. You’ll need to register the car in your state. The car has a clear Texas title.
