Up for sale is a very nice 1998 Volvo V70R. I work at a Volvo Dealer in Connecticut and I bought this car with a few problems. Everything was fixed by my friend an expert certified Volvo technician of over 15 years whom I work with. Everything on this car works 100%. All the power options even the seat heaters still work. The 3 disc CD changer in the dash works great as well as all the speakers. The amp had to be replaced so I put in a 400 watt amp from a C70. It is the best sounding V70 I have ever been in. The motor runs great with no smoking ticking or oil leaks. The turbo pulls strong this car will get you into the triple digits fast. The whole top end was rebuilt because of a bad head gasket. All the upper engine seals were replaced including the valve stem seals. The head was decked and the valves were reseated. The timing belt was also replaced when this was done. That’s three grand right there. The suspension and steering is tight with no clunks rattles or unusual noises. The all wheel drive works great. I have been driving it around in the snow the last couple of weeks and it will go through anything. It is making a bit if a whine noise from the center bearing. In the warmer weather it goes away. I can have the bearing replaced for an extra 170 at the end of the auction if you would like. The brakes stop firmly with no pulling. There is allot of life left in the pads and rotors. The tires are Michelin pilot 205/55/16 with over 60% tread left at all four corners. The paint is showing its age it looks great from 5 feet away but when you get close you can see a its blemishes. The windshield does have one crack in it. For an extra 180 at the end of the auction I can have it replaced with a new glass.
