I am putting up my 2000 VW GTI VR6 up for sale. I have owned the car for 3 years and now need to part with it. I have taken very good care of the car since it has been in my possession. All maintenance has been done on my own with no major work down on the motor. The condition of the exterior is an 8/10 and the interior is a 7/10 (mainly cosmetic). As far as mods go, I've installed 20th anniversary edition springs, 20th anniversary front and rear (no side skirts), 17" BBS STI wheels (painted black), wrapped in Hankooks (less than 3000 miles), TechTonics catback with Borla muffler. Mechanically no major issues. Check engine light stays on due to emissions caused by a larger exhaust. Dealer wants $60 to clear it so I said I can live with it since it has no effect on the car mechanically. I want to be as honest as I can with the description and feel free to ask any questions you may have. I just want to make sure you are very clear on what you're buying before you bid. The car is 11 years old and will need minor maintenance done on it but overall runs good. I also own a 2005 GLI and have no more time for the GTI. Good luck and thanks for viewing the car.
