1981 Camaro Z-28 (a very rare find & rust free AZ car) 350 4v motor with factory Ram Air Induction all still intact the way GM built it 30 years ago. Automatic trans with console and bucket seats. The TAN interior had some of the seats redone and is on its way to being restored. I havent found the buildsheet yet, but I am looking for it. (if you plan on being in Az for the auction this month, I can hold the car for you till you come pick it up) AZ Title shows mileage to be about 155k Car fires right up and can be driven anywhere. Brakes etc feel good. Original paint says : no previous hidden damage ! Factory AC PS, PDB, PW, RW Defroster and more Motor and trans feel great. Its been a daily driver off and on the last 5 yrs. Front suspension just had some bushings replaced. I dont want to sell, but if reserves met it will find a new home for someone else to enjoy. A unmolested survivor ! LOW RESERVE Interior: nice driver but showing its age in some areas. ACs all there but not charged. Tires in decent shape and still has the correct Z28 rims Car runs and drives and brakes nice, but carb may need a rebuild and and tune up on the motor soon. The exhaust smells like its running rich, which is why it didnt pass emissions last yr I believe its more carb related then anything else. Still fun to drive around in and to local Cruze Nites. Would be an easy restoration. Drive around as is or restore it to its original glory, or somewhere in between. Car is super solid, doors etc all close well and tight for their age One outter handle is broken and one inside it missing. ORIGINAL Paint and Interior showing some age. All the glass is good, but windshield has a crack. Hood hinges are showing their age so the hood corner has hit the windshield cracking it. Obviously this is not a restored car Most of these cars where hot rodded and beat to crap back in the 80s and 90s. This car flew under the wire and is stock as a rock. They are only original ONCE. Anyone can throw shiney paint and a bunch of off the shelf aftermarket parts on a car and say its "restored" But the value for your $ doesnt make worth buying. Early Muscle cars like this restored back to the way it came off the showroom, have higher Values hands down. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets ! Lots of beat up rust buckets being bid up over $3500 . Our car is twice the quaility and unmolested car then most here for close to the same price. While clearn low mileage restored cars of this era have asking prices of $8k or more easily.
