Vehicle Detail
FJ60 Land Cruiser Daily Driver 2F 6 Cylinder Recent parts: New radiator, hoses, thermostat and upper thermostat housing, battery, rear springs, alternator Maintenance: Regular oil changes, recent complete fluid changes including transmission and front and rear diff fluids Tires: good Goodyear Wranglers Rust on right and left rocker panels and beginning around rear wheel wells. Damage to tailgate from an errant boat trailer hitch No radio/stereo Toyota tool kit and jack included Interior ok with carpet missing on drivers side Great Land Cruiser. I've owned for about 10 years. Being relisted due to a non paying bidder. I won't accept a bid from you if you have 0 feedback unless you contact me first. Brakes must have a slight fluid leak somewhere. Included in the spare parts are replacement lines. Clutch also has a slight leak - clutch is spongy. 4 wheel drive and tranny are fine - smooth shifting. Pictures show the rust on the rocker panels and around rear wheels. Email me with questions. I'd like to sell the cruiser to someone who wants to fix 'er up. On Dec-27-10 at 22:28:10 PST, seller added the following information: Horn does not work. Replaced exhaust cat back about 2 years ago.On Jan-09-11 at 17:45:46 PST, seller added the following information: I've had questions about rust. I hate rust, too, so I can appreciate the questions. I will be posting more pictures with every rust spot I can see (other than that which I've posted - those are the worst areas.). There are spots of rust around the rear window and the windshield. There is also some rust in the rain gutter (roof) around the driver's door, but I'm unable to get a picture of that where you can see it clearly. The truck generally has been garaged over the years, so the finish and paint (other than the rusted areas) is not too bad. I have not waxed it in several years and the exterior needs a thorough scrubbing. The underside has surface rust (scaling), but there is nothing wrong with the frame. Tires are in good shape. They are a few years old but only have 10 or 15,000 miles on them. I've done a lot of different things to the truck, but no modifications. Only have done the things I needed to keep it running. The damage to the tailgate from the boat trailer hitch is pretty bad, in my opinion. It has a major dent and the hitch pushed thru the sheet metal. This happened last summer. The gate stilll closes. I will add another picture of that, too. Transmission is the original 4 speed. As you all probably know, with the four speed tranny it likes to run at about 55-60 on the highway. I've driven it at 65-70 with no problem but I wouldn't want to drive it for hours and hours on the highway.
