We are selling our family vehicle. We just purchased this pickup in July of 2010 from the original owner. He was a practicing horse vet. in the Seattle area. He sold it through an online auto broker. We bought it with intentions of driving it for many years. Right after we bought it we began experiencing a severe drought in our area and being young beginning farmers we are feeling it. Therefore we need to sell it to pay some bills. This has been a very good, trouble-free truck. It shows right at 238,000 miles as I write this listing but will likely gain some more before the auction closes as we are still moving things out of it. We have put on about 15,000 miles in the time we have owned it, mostly on the highway as we are 20 miles out of town and sometimes make several trips per day. We were told that the injector pump and clutch had both been replaced about 10,000 miles before we bought it and I have no reason to doubt this as it runs strong with plenty of power and the clutch feels like there is a lot there. I owned one of these when it was new and this one drives just as well as that one did. The overall condition of the truck is very good considering the age and mileage. The exterior has a few dings and scrapes with no major damage other than a bent rear bumper that was there when we bought it. When we received the truck it still had a vet box mounted in the bed-we removed it and had a B&W turn over gooseneck ball installed which we have only used a couple of times to pull calves to the sale, never on rough terrain. We had new Kumho all-terrain 285/75/16 tires installed just a few weeks ago and they are like new with less than 1500 miles on them. We drove this truck with our 2-year-old little boy in back on a lot of 100+ degree days last summer and it never once got hot while sitting idle running the cold A/C on high. The dash is NOT cracked like most of these trucks are getting to be and the interior is in pretty good shape as well. The only things I know to be wrong with it are that the 4x4 light does not come on but it seems to working, also the windshield washer fluid leaks out and the "LOW WASH" light stays on. I removed the washer fluid reservoir and inspected it recently and found no cracks, I think it may be leaking around a rubber grommet where the pump mounts. The wash fluid pump is good by the way, just runs out of fluid fast. I have tried to be as detailed as I can with my description and I don't think I left anything out. We wouldn't hesitate drive it anywhere. We hate to see it go but we do not want to quit farming over it. We would like the winning bidder to give us a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of sale and the rest within 7 days of sale. Once funds are received we will overnight the title.
