Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice 1973 Honda ST90 in Mighty Green with only 1,395 miles. I have gone through everything on the bike and there are no issues, everything works as it should. All the lights operate properly including turn signals, pilot lights, Hi/Lo beams and brake lights. The battery is new as well. I cleaned the entire fuel system which included disassembling and cleaning the carburetor and replacing the fuel lines. The seat has been recovered with a high quality aftermarket cover. I changed the oil and replaced the spark plug. Apart from the replacement items mentioned, this is a very original bike, it even has the original tool kit! The engine runs very well with no strange noises, smoke or other issues. The semi-auto transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The original tires have plenty of tread life left but show minor age checking. The paint still shines nicely and only has a few small scratches and nicks here and there, no dents dings etc. The chrome still shows very well including the rims and spokes which only have a few small areas of rust, the fenders are perfect! Over-all I would rate the condition of the chrome and paint as very good for a 38 year old machine. The title is clean, clear and in hand. See shipping options below Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. Thank you and good luck. SHIPPING: The bike is located in Ashland, Ohio, 44805 which is midway between Cleveland and Columbus. I can offer several shipping options for you to choose from: 1) I will crate the bike (totally enclosed) and load on your shippers truck from my commercial location. My crating fee is $150 and will include new ratcheting tie-downs that are yours to keep. The crate is professionally built using new materials. 2) I will deliver the bike to Forward Air in Cleveland and load it in one of their containers for a fee of only $50 that will include new ratcheting tie-downs and locks that will be yours to keep. You must make all the arrangements and pay Forward Air their fee before I deliver the bike. You MUST use their container. Please check with them for rates @ WWW.FORWARDAIR.COM 3) There are several transportation services that will pickup and deliver door to door without crating. One that I have used with success is Wolverine Transport. You may contact them @ wolverinetransport@yahoo.com Wolverine is actually scheduled to deliver a bike to me around the middle of the month so they may be a great option for you since they'll already be here. 4) I can crate the bike and ship to most any commercial location in the continental U.S for a maximum of $500 You must be able to accept a semi-truck delivery or be willing to pick up from your nearest freight terminal. 5) My favorite! You may make your own arrangements and I will assist you anyway I can on this end. Please remember that the bike is at a commercial location and can be loaded with ease on to any type of vehicle you send. IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ ALL: Remember, your winning bid is a contract to buy, not to show up, kick the tires and then decide you've changed your mind. I apologize if this sounds harsh but we all know these types of bidders do exist so please don't bid unless you're serious about owning this vehicle. I am not a dealer, I don't do this for a living, I'm a collector with a large number of bikes and from time to time I thin out the herd. If you'd like any detailed photos of a specific area of the bike, just ask! I have over 50 shots of it but will be glad to take more if needed. Please ask any questions you like before bidding. You will be answered quickly and honestly. I will not sugarcoat anything for the sake of a few extra dollars. With all the bikes I own or have owned over the years, I know how disappointing it is when someone over-sells a bikes condition so you may be sure I won't do that to you. I have disclosed and will gladly provide photos of all known defects for your inspection. You are welcome and encouraged to personally inspect the bike and test drive it . Although this bike is sold “as is” and "without warranty", I want you to be happy and I will do anything within reason to me to see that you are. Thank you and good luck! INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: PLEASE be sure you have a means to ship the bike and know your shipping costs BEFORE you bid. Unfortuneately I cannot arrange for international shipping. I cannot supply you with names of international shippers because I don't know any. I will help you on this end if possible but ALL inquires and arrangements must be made by you!
