I'm going to be honest with you about what work needs to be done...which will probably scare a bunch of you off to go look at multiple owner dealer cars that could have a bunch of the same issues that you'll eventually find out for yourself. If you do go that route, be absolutely sure that they have had the timing belt work done ($1500 at a dealer!) and have the service records. Maintenance was free for the first 4 years on these cars, but after that it was pretty painful at the dealer. This car is an opportunity to start with a car in great shape and spend some money in exchange for piece of mind that everything that should have been done, has been done. Low mileage, single owner, no accidents, smoke free, dealer serviced. It comes with a custom line-in AUX connector for plugging in your iPod or other audio accessories. Okay, let me begin by saying this car passed inspection in June 2010 and looks and runs great...but it has a few things that need to be done. I bought a new car so I can't justify putting any more money in this one, but I can tell you what you're getting yourself into. If you're mechanically inclined, you could probably do the work yourself for a few hundred bucks, a couple of afternoons, and some Google searching. There's a really great community on the internet providing information and step-by-step walkthroughs for these 1.8T A4's. Thermostat needs replacing. Its currently stuck open, so you won't have any heat until its fixed. A new one costs about $100.Due for it's 80k servicing. This part is about $25.Slow air leak from the front driver-side tire. You can have it repaired for $25 or just air it up every couple weeks.For some reason AutoCheck is reporting a possible Loan/Lien on the car. The loan was paid off in full and I have the title and notarized lien release from the credit union.
