Vehicle Detail
2010 Suzuki RM-Z250 Full-Factory Magazine Project Bike This bike is in utterly mint condition and it's the first of the Fuel Injected Suzuki 250s. Was built as a project bike for MotoUSA magazine/website by Suzuki, Yoshimura and Factory Connection. This is a full-works racebike. Doesn’t get any close to a factory Suzuki unless your name in Ryan Dungey; it was built by the same people over at Yoshimua/Suzuki that builds his machines! It makes over 40hp, almost that of a 450, yet is still extremely to ride for most any skill levels. Even our Novice test riders loved it. Less than 3 hours logged on the bike since new. Perfect for an up-and-coming club racer, privateer MX or SX guy -- or just someone who wants the ultimate dirt bike! Features: - Yosh balanced and polished bottom-end/transmission - Upgraded piston and rings – raised compression ratio - Yosh hand ported and polished top-end and valve seats - Upgraded titanium valves - Custom adjustable cam timing that can be set up for bottom end or re-tuned for top-end, depending on application... - Race wiring harness - Yellow aftermarket water hoses which withstand more heat (than stock and look pretty trick as well) - Polished external crankcases - Beefed up Hinson internal clutch plates as well as stronger clutch and side covers - One-off custom full Titanium with Carbon end-cap Yoshimura exhaust - Braking wave rotors front and rear w/Braking brake pads - Carbon skip plate - Aftermarket triple clamps, set-up for outdoor MX - Black excel wheels with talon hubs - Brand new Dunlop GeoMax tires - Renthal chain and RK sprockets - Custom Graphics and grippy seat cover - Pro Taper bars and Renthal grips- Factory Connection upgraded Showa Suspension front and rear (set up for a 170-lb rider, but an easily be adjusted for all sizes and skill levels by Factory Connection for only the cost of parts - free labor)- Plus many other additions (too many small mods like ti bolts, etc to even list...) The modifications alone alone totaled around $18,000, without the cost of the motorcycle; which adds roughly another $7000-plus. That’s nearly 25-large in total and it’s still in completely mint conditions, only ridden twice for magazine photo-shoots. (It will be featured in an upcoming issue and online!). Would love to keep it but got a deal to build a Kawasaki for 2011, so the Suzuki has to go. That said, this is personally the best bike I've even ridden, so it's with great saddnes I am selling her. Look at the photos for yourself and you well see what I’m talking about… Serious buyers only please. Contact Steve: satlas58@gmail.com
