Mechanically.......... It is very tight and solid, and is ready to cruise and camp. It is powered by a GE CODE 2.0 liter, L-Jetronic ENGINE WITH HYDROLIC Lifter. This is the more powerful motor made for the Vw Baywindow Westfalia Camper. IT WAS JUST TUNED AND IT READY TO GO. The MANUAL transmission shifts properly through all gears. THE CLUTCH IS WORKING PROPERLY, AS ARE THE TIRES AND BRAKES.
Exterior lighting including headlamps, turn signals, AND tail lights are working properly. WIPERS are operational. THERE IS NO STEREO.
Exterior.......This Westy is eye catching. THE BODY IS NICE AND STRAIGHT. THERE ARE NO DENTS. THE FLOORS AND UNDERSIDE ARE SOLID AND CLEAN. IT WAS JUST REPAINTED IN IT'S ORIGINAL SAGE GREEN(L63H). ALL SEALS AND EXTERIOR FIXTURES WERE REMOVED BEFORE PAINT AND REPLACED WITH NEW OR GOOD CONDITION ORIGINALS. BUMPERS AND WHEELS WERE REFINISHED IN WHITE AND POP TOP WAS PAINTED WITH WEATHERPROOF PAINT AND RECEIVED NEW SEALS. There are new rubber seals for front windshield, rear window and all other fixed/stationary windows AND doors.
Interior.........THERE IS NEW FRONT MAT AND ORIGINAL CARGO SECTION CARPET IN GOOD CONDITION. There are ORIGINAL door panels. NEW seat stand mats, NEW kick panels, and new FRONT seat upholstery. There are four seat belts - two lap/shoulder belts for front bucket seats and two lap belts for the rear bench seat. The front passenger seat swivels to face the rear. THE POPTOP CANVAS IS NEW. THE ORIGINAL CABINETRY LOOKS GOOD AND OFFERS PLENTY OF STORAGE SPACE.
