Vehicle Detail
This is my Daily Driver 1993 BMW 325i, 5-speed manual with 222k. I drive it on a daily basis to work and on business trips to PA, CT, DE, MA, NJ, MD,DC, and VA. It will drive smooth at triple digit speeds without any vibration, hesitation, or weaknesses. It is a lot quicker than a stock 325i. I have owned this car for the last 8-9 years. I have maintained it well; all parts whenever needed have been replaced by OEM BMW parts or better. Work performed on the car was either personally by me or BMW Specialist located in Westbury, NY. Oil has always been changed every 5,000 miles with OEM BMW Oil Filter with Castrol Synthetic 10W-40 all year around. Upgraded parts List 1- Heavy duty complete front control arms with bushings & ball joints. ($900) 2- HD Bilstein Shocks front & Rear with Lifetime Replacement Warranty ($1200) 3- Jim Conforti ECM Performance Chip. Adds over 20hp & 20tq, delimited speed (car will exceed over 150+ mph) ($240), improve VANOS response. 4- New front brake pads ($80) 5- Brembo front & rear rotors ($550) 6- Lightweight BMW 323i OEM wheels 7- Upgraded BOSCH fuel Injectors with fuel pressure gauge 8- BMW Z3M Short Shifter 9- Cold Air Intake 10- BMW E36 M3 Exhaust Muffler 11. BMW E36 M3 Steering Wheel 12- Tinted windows Maintenance Parts Replaced (OEM parts) Within The Past 15,000 Miles - New Water pump - New Cooling fan & clutch - BOSCH Oxygen Sensor - Pulstar Spark Plugs - Fuel pump & Fuel pump sender unit. - Brake Pads (front) - Valve Cover Gasket The Following Items May Need to be Addressed by Buyer Sun roof rails were recently replaced and the sunroof & motor needs to be synchronized. It operates fine but it will need to be synced. Hood release handle broke. I have been opening the hood by pulling on the cable with a wrench/pliar. I bought the parts but haven't fixed it. I will provide buyer with the parts. Sometimes the ABS light comes on for one of the sensors. I never bothered to fix it. I don't intend on fixing it either. The Air Bag light came on after the M3 steering was installed. This light needs to be reset. The Air bag works fine. There may be minor fluid leaks due to the age of the car. Needs right fog light. The car has a lot of life left even with all these miles. It would be a great 2nd car for someone who does not want to put too many miles on their newer car. I have a BMW M5 and an SUV so this is my daily driver. It would be a great car for someone who knows a thing or two about BMWs. Most of its life the car has been garaged, that's why the paint is still pretty good. Front hood, right fender, and nose grill, were replaced with used OEM paint matching parts due to a minor collision with a deer about 3 months ago in PA. If the buyer makes minor improvements to the front end and gets it repainted, the car would look just awesome. I am only selling it because I am acquiring an E46 BMW 323i. Let me know if you have any questions. NOTE: I am still driving the car, so the miles may be slightly higher. By Bidding you are legally obligated to purchase the vehicle.
