1979 Ford F-100 Custom pickup with low miles at 78,000 or so in used shape as shown. This has a good running 302 with auto transmission and is in decent shape for the age and is a great restoration project, but also runs and drives ok, but it hesitates and sputters when you accelerate likely from bad gas and acts like the choke is stuck ,but starts right back up. We have installed a new fuel pump, fuel filter, new battery, dropped the tank and cleaned it, put on 2 new tires and are gradually working on this to driveable condition. The biggest issue with this is there is some rust on the wheel wells, a dent in the single wall near the rear of the cab and the tailgate is broken and unuseable, but there is an older replacement one with this. There is a slight 2 in seat tear and the dash is cracked up in 2 spots as shown, but this is a pretty rare vehicle. There is a slight heater core leak, likely from a seal but the heater and defroster work great. The original AM radio does not work. The brakes were hard but we worked them out and they are useable. The tail pipe is gone but the rest of the exhaust is ok and looks original. The small vacuum pump is stuck and missing the belt and may be causing the hesitation. That will be the next thing we do to it. Original condition and does not need too much to be a nice show vehicle or work truck. This includes a near mint set of 1979 plates from Ohio on the seat as this qualifies for a historical vehicle. Look at the pics and make reasonable offers if you like.
