Up for sale is a collectors edition 2003 Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo. This is a one owner, adult owned car, with 27,443 original miles. Always garaged, professonally maintained, and in near flawless condition. The car is equipped with a intercooled turbo system that was bought when the Monte Carlo was new, then professonally installed after the Monte Carlo was carefully broken in at 10,000 miles. The turbo system and all other parts were purchased through "3800 Performance", cost for the system was over $6500. That did not include labor to install. The transmission was upgraded at the same time the turbo system was installed. The exhaust is a SLP cat back all stainless steel system. The turbo system is and has always only been set to the minimum setting. This car is capable of lot more power with just the twist of a dial on the wastegate. With the car running 9-10 psi as it does right now, it's faster than most would need it to be, so we never turned up the boost. You would never know it had a turbo till you put your foot into it. It's as mild mannered and drivable as a stock one is, still achieving 27mpg on the freeway. This is a very amazing sleeper. The shop that installed the system commented: "This is the most well thought out turbo system that we have ever installed for a customer". The car comes equipped with Onstar with directions upgrade and XM radio both of which are paid for through the late fall of 2011. New Michelin tires wrap the factory alloy wheels.
