Vehicle Detail

I am the second owner of this astounding machine (1995); the standard by which all other power/speed machines of the '80's was compared. The Hondaline Saddlebags were purchased new with the bike by the original owner in September 1984. Water-cooled, shaft drive, 6-speed and power that will make your adrenaline flow and also, keep you safe. The bike has always been a South Bay/Los Angeles based machine. This bike is sporting new tires, brakes, battery, fork seals, horns, professionally rebuilt carburetors, various rubber wiring holders and other odds and ends. The bike has always been covered both while garaged and when parked out in public. There is a Cycle Guard alarm mounted under the seat. The bike is fitted with the original stock seat in as new condition and with the original headlamp and signals. Shop manual, original owners manuals, alarm manual and a new spare air filter are all included. The disclosure: This bike mechanically runs flawlessly. Although it has never been down on the street, it unfortunately tried to fall over once in my garage when my foot slipped while parking it; it did not fully hit the floor but my knee did put a small dimple into the forward left side of the tank. I have never attempted to pull it out, though it should come out nicely if done so correctly as there are no hard creases. It is not overly obvious but it is there nonetheless. There is the typical minor amount of wear/pitting/corrosion that is inevitable given its twenty-six years of existence. The odometer does not show the correct mileage (14,400); The gear turns at the front wheel and all of the electrical connections to the speedometer/odometer are clean and seemingly tight. All else in the instrument cluster is operational. The saddlebags wore some of the paint finish off the grab rails, in response to this I have buffed off and polished out the rail faces behind the bags with steel wool to remove the unsightly wear. I will provide specific images upon request.
