1977 Chevy C-10 Pickup. 2wd Short bed. Lots of miles. Been in the family almost 20 years. Spent the first years as a fleet truck in Kansas, then most of it's life in the high country of Colorado. I brought it to Michigan back in 2001 to be my driver. It was solid, with sun-faded paint, and a dry, cracked dashboard. 10 years of Michigan weather/roads/salt has taken its toll on the body. See pics. Now, the floor of the cab is bad where it meets the door on the driver and passenger side. Rockers are bad. Bed is getting thin with holes, etc. It's rough and crunchy, but reliable. It has a 250 6 cyl engine, a 3 speed manual on the column (three on the tree). It will get stuck between gears from time to time. Those familiar know what to do. No choke on the carb. Still starts right up after a few pumps, then will run on its own after a minute or two. No power steering right from the factory. Very few options on this fleet truck... not even a dome light. Factory AM radio is there and working. Only let me down once in the last 10 years... ignition module in the distrubutor. That's it. Still as reliable as the day I got it. Newer battery and radiator. Leaks oil, but doesn't burn much. Selling because I need the money. Must sell. This is a perfect truck for someone who is looking for a chassis and needs a VIN, or for someone like me who can tolerate driving an old beater. Still driving it daily. Please, don't buy this for your teenager to use as a daily driver. It is advertised locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if need be.
