The decals are in excellent condition as is the glass, seats, door panels and carpet. As a matter of fact, the seats, carpet and door panels are completely free of stains and/or damage of any kind. There are no cracks on the dash. Even the clock keeps perfect time. Radio and power antenna work. Dash lights, lighter and all exterior lights work. Tires are excellent. Previous owner states the car was never wrecked. There is no obvious evidence of body damage/repair or rust concerns. Undercarriage appears solid and damage free. Floor pans and trunk pans are solid and rust free as is the frame, rails and rocker panels. As usual, the headliner has shrunk a little in a few spots but is not sagging or hanging down. The interior sail pan on the passenger side way down next to the package tray is getting brittle from age but looks fine and is very hard to see. It doesn’t smoke or make any funny noises. It runs straight down the road with a very smooth and solid feel. The Turbo (and lights) works as they should. It is very roadworthy and is just waiting to be driven and enjoyed. This car would make any road trip with no worries. This amazing Indy 500 Pace Car could be shown with pride at any local or regional car show and get tons of compliments and attention.
