In our inspection we found it has had body work over the years, its average, the paint looks decent, most of the trim and chrome has some marks, bed has dings in it, but I must say, it has an Awesome Engine and Sound !. On the lift we see the floors are original, no undercoating and in great condition, frame is very nice, has the big block springs, 12 Bolt Positraction Rearend with a correct K code and the 400 Turbo Trans has the 1967 on the side data plate, so its most likely the correct transmission. The car seems to be a good sheet metal car, to make it real sharp, your would block out the body, re-paint , install new trim and put a bed liner in it, or, have fun with it as it is, its a good driver quality Elcamino. The Engine does have Correct Casting # on it for the 67 396 , the Pad does have the EV Code for the 67 325HP and it does have the serial # on the Pad. The Engine was rebuilt not many miles back, a Stout Cam was installed along with a Edelebrock Aluminum Intake and Carb giving it more Horsepower and the Great Sound. Backed by the Brute 400 Turbo Trans as it is suppose . The truck was born with AC, but missing Compressor and lines. You want a Driver Quality El Camino, here it is, if you want one you can afford and restore it yourself, then this is the one for you. You can get in this truck and drive anywhere, the lights, signals, brakes and steering all work like they should.
