Open for trades. The Car: This is a very rare damaged Lotus Elise that was one of the few turbo charged elises built by Hypersports (named Elise Race LE300). In the original it was probably something like this car:Hypersport LE T300 Turbo car for salecheck it out... Drove a hypersport 300 whp elise todayAs you can see it is a project car. CAR SOLD AS IS! ALL I KNOW ABOUT IT IS SET FORTH HERE. Title: Interesting fact is that the car is on MSO that states that this is a "2004 Race Elise" it also states the car is for track use only. There is no salvage title on the car as it was never titled. I do have the MSO on hand. The VIN is provided. Miles: I was told that it only had a little over 400 miles or so when was damaged on the track, but obviously have been standing for a while. Some of the parts in the front seem to indicate that they are close to new, but I cannot tell.Ohlins: It seems that two out of the ohlins shocks are OK, one is repairable, but fourth is broken. Wheels: The wheels have similar story. They are expensive wheels (SSRs, cost $3k new), 3 seem OK and fourth may need some work to get it fixed, if at all. Tires not good at all. Seat: I do have the passenger seat (red) that will be included but there is no driver's seat. Airbags: No airbags in this car. Not sure if the quick release is broken. I do not have the steering wheelTransmission: Transmission most likely is not good but may be repaired. The built sheet indicates that it has LSD but I could not verify. I have not checked if the LSD is inside or not, or if it is good. Turbo/ECU: Car has the Greddy aftermarket standalone ECU and stock ECU. The turbo and intercooler seem OK, but there are some cracks in the manifold. Not sure how much work is needed on this. Don't know the details. Engine: The engine has been modified by Hypersport when the car was built, to accomodate the turbo. However, I cannot tell if it was damaged, and never attempted to open it. It looks like it was not harmed, but I cannot tell. Chassis: The chassis in the front seem to be good and straight. however, in the back, it is hard to tell before you pull the engine out, so I cannot say if it is 100% straight or not. Note that crash structure is perfect. Windshield: You will need a new one of course. suspnesion: All 4 corners have solid control arms (some new that I bought), so if you replace the shocks/springs you will be OK. These cost alone $1500-2,000Body parts: Car does not have clams. Tops: I do have a soft top for it that is included. Caveat: Please read carefully all the info above and note that you buy the car AS IS. I am only saying what I know and I am not going to start taking anything apart to check it out. What you see is what you get.
