LOW RESERVE AND DRIVE IT HOME! I am selling my 300SEL Euro spec 300SEL that is in good condition for its age. The Euro car is lighter and faster than it's american counterpart. The 300SEL was not brought to the states until 1988 and was much more reliable and fuel efficient than the V8's (I have gotten 26+mpg on trips). The Euro model gives the power of the smaller V8 with better fuel efficiency! I updated the wheels in the 90's to the "newer" 126 body wheels. The body is in good condition, the interior is fair (worn and dried see pics), and the driveline is in good condition. It doesn't use oil between changes and doesn't leak. The car has more than 282,000 miles but the true milage is unknown as the odometer quit working and has been replaced. It only shows approximately 163,000 and the outside temp reading still works. Tires and brakes are good and this car is a tank. You can drive it anywhere. We used this as a business and vacation car for many years. The transmission was replaced at 175k. All the windows and locks work. I haven't used the sunroof in years, the cd player does not work (I don't know why) but the radio and tape deck do. It also has a trailer hitch (with 4 prong wiring) that I used for hauling my single jet ski trailer. You can drive the car anywhere, we just used it to commute back and forth to Carlisle PA (100 miles round trip) for 5 days and my friend was using it for her daughter who is in college until she was able to purchase her own car. Oil pressure is great (pegs the scale when cold). This car has the "Classic and Timeless Benz Style". You can come by and drive the car and take a look if you like.
