1968 Ford F-100 Pick Up, 300 CID 6 Cylinder, 3 Speed Manual on the column NOT RUNNING, AS IS, WHERE IS! This auction is for a 1968 Ford F-100 pickup truck. This sale is AS IS, WHERE IS!! While the entire truck is there, we are not sure if this could be restored so we are selling it as if it were salvage or as a parts truck and therefore there is no reserve. Here’s what we know: Glass appears to be intact. Tires are totally unusable and the wheels are likely frozen. The bed was replaced in 1985 or 86 with a 1972 F-100 bed. There is a trailer hitch installed on the rear. The truck has sat for years and we have no way to see if it even turns over. However, when it was parked where it currently sits, the engine, transmission and rear end worked well. The truck has its share of the customary rust through areas for ford pickups of this age: on the body near the rear of the doors, on the front of the hood. There is a dent in the top of the cab just to the rear of the passenger door. We are the owners and hold the title to this gem of a parts pile and will sign title over to the winning bidder upon completion of the sale and removal of the truck in it's entirety. The winning bidder will need to provide a deposit in the amount of $25 within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The remainder will be due and the title signed over to the winning bidder upon removal of the property. The property must be removed from its current location within 30 days of the end of the auction. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to arrange for removal of the truck. We have no way to deliver it. Title will be signed over when the truck is removed from the property. We are also Auctioning two motorcycles from the 1970's as possible restoration pojects. It's the last image. It is not easy to get under the truck but I would assume they are all in about the same condition. The floor boards are covered by an attached rubber mat and I did not remove it to look underneath. That said, 1960's Ford trucks were not well protected against rust. Bid accordingly.On Dec-14-10 at 09:40:43 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE: It will require a "roll back" tow truck with a wench to move this truck in order to avoid damaging the driveway pavement. Bidders should make arrangements with a professional towing company that can handle this type of removal. Removal must be scheduled with the seller. All payments must be completed prior to removal. Title will be delivered at time of removal.
