**** NO RESERVE AUCTION **** NO BUY IT NOW **** BID TO WIN**** up for auction is a completely rebuilt 1990 suzuki LT250R, i received this not running and tore it down completely and redid almost everything on it. It had a hole in the piston from running lean as a direct result of the intake boot between the carb and motor having a large gash in it. I started of by ordering a complete gasket kit, complete seal kit, and a top end rebuild kit. I used a micrometer and to my surprise it had only been bored once and since the cylinder wasn't scored or damaged i was able to order a 67.50mm kit (stock is 67.00mm) I honed the cylinder as you can see in the picture and it turned out perfect. I rebuilt the motor and while apart noticed it has a HOTROD brand crank and connecting rod. I replaced all the gaskets and seals including crank seals, counter balancer seals, intake and reed cage seal, side cover gaskets and power valve window gasket and exhaust header gasket. I ordered a carb rebuild kit and rebuilt the carb, ordered a new intake boot to replace the bad one. I stripped the frame completely and repainted it and the front a-arms and polished the flywheel cover, swingarm, water pump, and exhaust. I checked all the bearings throughout and replaced the bad one's and coated them in marine grade grease to prevent rusting later, disassembled the rear axle and checked it to ensure bearings were also good and coated them in marine grease also. I stripped and repainted the motor, polished up the reed cage, the renthal handlebars, and grab bar. I then disassembled the brakes and rebuilt them, the pads were good and the rotors checked out fine. I flushed all the old brake fluid and replaced it with DOT4 synthetic brake fluid. I used my cable luber and lubed the throttle cable, greased the steering stem bushings with marine grease. The paint was wearing off of the levers so i polished them up and polished the aluminum shifter also. I replaced the grips with new blue SCOTT atv grips. I flushed the cooling system and replaced the coolant with fresh -30 degree coolant. The front hub bearings were good so i greased them. *** the motor has only been ran a total of 40-45 minutes to seat the rings and retorque the cylinder and head bolts. it has not been rode or ran other than stated above. it is a freshly rebuilt motor and ready to ride. *** Below is a list of aftermarket items that are on it now *** fmf fatty pipe and silencerwiseco piston and ringsrenthal barsbail kill switchrear realtor tires--can swap side to side for sand or dirt hotrod crank and connecting rodall new gasketsall new sealsboyseen carbon fiber reedsboyseen reed cagejetted 34mm carbfull stock air boxradiator scoopmaier front plasticsstock rear plastics-- stitched in two spots but looks decentblue scott grips decent front tiresseat is in good shapeaxle is straight and stockthe aluminum wheels are straight with no wobbles or big dingsnew swingarm bearings flushed fluids and installed freshfresh crankcase fluidEBC clutch disc kitHD clutch springslubed throttle and clutch cablesnerf bars with blue nets that are not stretched outblue neoprene shock covers on all three shocks rebuilt rear shockadjustable front shocksnew OEM front bumper pad This LT250r is in great shape now, it has a fresh rebuilt motor thats only at .5mm over stock bore and everything has been redone or checked and taken care of before reassembly. I rebuilt this quad with the intensions of keeping it and riding it but i now have a 2006 LTZ400 and am gonna sell the 250r. The buyer will not be disappointed and be very pleased. This LT is my third one and by far the nicest of all, i redid this one so it would be reliable and ready for any riding conditions available. *** pickup only *** will not ship *** BID TO WIN-------NO RESERVE AUCTION On Dec-12-10 at 17:59:13 PST, seller added the following information: *** IF PICKED UP WITHIN 12 HOURS OF AUCTION END I WILL PAY FOR YOU'RE FUEL COSTS TO PICK IT UP AS LONG AS YOU BRING FUEL RECEIPTS AT TIME OF PICKUP *** SO YOU CAN BUY THE QUAD AND WIN THE AUCTION AND NOT HAVE ANY OTHER COSTS.
