This is a piece of Honda history. The 1979 Honda Civic was the last year of the first generation model. Late enough to work out all the bugs, but early enough to have that charming first generation body style. Don't miss out on my would be winter's project car. I hate to part with it, but I need the extra income. Features: - 1200 CC engine - 4 speed manual transmission - Non-CVCC interior - Owned by a non-smoker Known Issues: - Mileage shows 36,431 but since there is no 1XX,XXX place on the odometer I can not tell if it is 136,431 or 236,431 or 936,431. - Engine runs a bit rough. I drove it every day to work until I got a new car, but the carb could use a rebuild and the points need replaced. - Transmission is rough starting in first gear, but raising the rpm's smooths things out. It could use a rebuild, but I drove it fine as is - Rear defroster is not working. - No stereo installed, but all wires easily accessible. - No air conditioner, heating works great - Dents in driver's side door and rear end - There is substantial wear in the upholstery of the driver's seat - Minor rust on parts of the car's exterior, lower panel of doors and wheel wells, see photographs Buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges.
