This is a Lotus Seven RECREATION done by Westfield. Westfield as forced, via court ruling, to change their in builds 1985 do to the dead on accuracy of their builds of the Lotus Seven and only a few remain especially in a Race and Street version. This Westfield was built in 1983 and it comes with a Utah STREET LEGAL TITLE. Some builders, like Woody, are more talented than others. Originally licensed in South Dakota with a state assigned VIN # of W7 0017. South Dakota License # 777. Plates never updated. Rebuilt in 2002. It has electronic ignition with rev limiter.Accusump oil pressure accumulator w/ solenoid activation. Electric fan and engine mounted fan. The car does not overheat, even in Las Vegas. Spax adjustable shocks. Quickest car in 5 events. 2nd fastest car in 2 events. 125cc gearbox Karts would take the overall quickest time when they competed. As an A Mod Car (The ONLY change was the wing) in 2004. 12 events: Quickest car in 7 events. 2nd fastest car in 4 events. The only vehicles that were faster overall were 125cc shifter Go-Karts, when they ran. A Mod in 2005. Quickest car in 2 events. 2nd fastest car in 2 events. 3rd fastest car in 3 events. A Mod in 2006, 10 events: Quickest car in 3 events, 2nd fastest car in 7 events. . Two notable events were the high speed North/South Challenge autocross at Hawthorne , NV airport on 5-28-06. The Westfield was the fastest car while competing against the quickest cars from Reno and Las Vegas. On 9-10-06 the Westfield finished 0.556 seconds behind Mark Huffman from Arizona. Mark went on to finish 3rd in DM at the SCCA Nationals three weeks later. The car is consistantly fast, with or without the wing.
