A: I'm sure there are some minor parts missing, but nothing that is not available from suppliers and would normally be replaced during the course of a restoration. The grille is rough, but then the only time you see one that's good, it's because it's been replaced. Q: Specifically, how "rough"s the body. Is the obvious surface rust something that could be cured? Is there chassis or lower body rust or rust in places where metal would have to be cut out and replaced? Are both bumpers and other parts still with the car? I see one on the floor. Do you think this is a rebuildable project? A: This is definitely restorable with no known major components missing. It is much better shape to start with than two projects which we currently in the shop. There is some rust through in the two doors, but the underbody/chassis is in much better shape. It looks like the exterior body panels, except the two doors, came from another Metropolitan. Q:WHAT IS INSIDE THE THE SEATS THERE AND DECK LID A: Yes, seats and trunk lid are there but just shreds remain of the upholstery. Q:HI DOES ANY OF THE 2 METROS HAVE MOTORS? ANY INSIDE PICTURES OF INTERIORS AND UNDER HOOD. A: Yes, both cars have engines. They do NOT run. Not much left of interior. Can take more photos Monday and post them on our website, www.kipmotor.com 12/14/2010 - More photos posted at: www.kipmotor.com/Cars_4_Sale/59_Met_Cvrt.htm
