1977 Mercedes 240d w/veggie kit!!! Up for auction is a 1977 Mercedes 240d. This has been my daily driver (and family car) for the past 8 months. It's an awesome car! It is in great running condition and comes with a veggie kit already installed (for using veggie/fryer oil as fuel) which is great since fuel isn't getting any cheaper! It also comes w/newly purchased shocks for all four wheels, cassette player, and rear cv boot (none of which have been installed yet). You will need to get new tires as the ones that are on it are quite worn and it could use some new glow plugs. We are selling this car due to the fact that our family has outgrown it and we had to upgrade to a larger vehicle. There are a few minor cosmetic blemishes here and there, but for a 33 year old car it's in great shape. These cars are known for their reliability at extremely high mileage (some are still being driven w/over 400,000 miles on them!!!). If you are looking for a great little car to putter around town in, this is the car for you. Large trunk space makes it great for trips.
