This SL600 was the top of the line in 1997 with factory AMG wheels, suspension tuning and sport package. This smooth 12 cylinder engine is just under 400 horse power and is designed to run well over 500,000 miles. At 85 miles per hour it runs at only 2500 rpm. 117,500 low miles - approx. 9,000 per year. The SL600's handling and acceleration is spectacular, and is superior to that of the SL500. In 1997 the SL600 cost over $50,000 more than the SL500. Most factory upgrades and options were standard in the SL600 or not available on the SL500, like the hand-stitched leather dash and door panels. This beautiful 3 owner car is in excellent shape. It has been garaged kept, and has never been wrecked. It has all newly rebuilt convertible hydraulics w/3 yr warranty as well as new clear plastic windows in the soft top. The hard top is included w/a new headliner and folding stand. I have the original owner's manual, first aid kit, and window sticker showing the car sold for $131k new. Driver's side fog light is missing. Passenger vanity mirror on the visor doesn't work. Might consider a trade for a Toyota FJ Cruiser or 4 Runner. Please only serious inquiries.
