Vehicle Description Thank you for looking at this 2004 Honda Insight. This car has a blown head gasket and will need the gas engine to be replaced or rebuilt. I bought the car to be my daily driver when it had 162k miles and after driving the car for 2000 miles it blew the head gasket, I’m not sure why but it did. The Integrated Motor Assist (IMA), the batteries and the charging system are all in excellent running condition. This would make an excellent electric vehicle platform if you are looking for a project; or just replace the gas engine and have a 51MPG daily driver. Exterior: Is nice and clean, there is road rash on the front bumper and hood. It looks as if the car was a highway commuter Interior: Is in good shape with no rips anywhere, the seats have some stains, but I will shampoo them again and try to get them out. Engine: Gas engine has a blown head gasket, electric assist motor is in good working order. Transmission: Shifts very nice and very smooth. Wheels and tires: Are in good shape with lots of life left on the tires This car is offered at no reserve and the highest bidder will take it home.
