Vehicle head and rear were damaged in a one-car accident. Right before the accident, vehicle had received a new timing belt, a new water pump, a new fuel filter and new spark plugs. It had 31x10.50x15 BF Land Terrain tires installed a year and a half prior to the accident. Tire treads have about 80% or more remaining (will upload a tread photo soon. The 4 over-sized cool-looking tires cost more than $400 new). Engine goes strong. Transmission shifts smoothly. Radiator hose or pipe was disconnected due to the accident. Driver side door does not close completely. The other three are unusually tight when closed. Owner had planned to have a body-shop straighten up the door frame and fix the vehicle himself. The project didn't take place because of time constraint. Friends are suggesting the route of disassembling and selling individual parts. It may be your choice. Dealer estimates a pull on their machine costs around $500 to $600. If you have a similar vehicle that has a good body but misses its engine or transmission, this may be your vehicle too. If you are handy on cars, you certainly can fix this rugged workhorse (it was driven to garage and parked there). It still starts and moves provided a new battery is installed (the old one no longer holds a charge). Vehicle has been garaged since accident. In summary, vehicle needs a new battery, coolant hose or pipe reconnection, (some radiator work?) and some major body work. I have tried my best to examine the damage. Additional repair may be required once you start to work on it. A qualified mechanic may be able to tell you more confidently about the damages. I am not in that category. I will throw in a Pioneer 50w x 4 DEH-P4600MP Radio/CD/MP3/WAV/WMA Multi format player and XM satellite Radio controller if the final bid goes over $900. Item is being advertised locally as well.
