1976 Formula auto 6.6 - Dressed in carousel red but came factory cameo white on firethorn car. I was leaning toward 3 shade of red grahics of block letter FORMULA down rocker and bottom door and around the dual snorkels. Obviously it's owner preference as there is no way to determine what color decals she was born with without buildsheet or window sticker. Would be a rare and beautiful car if returned to it's cameo/firethorn colors, but carousel being a one year color for 76 is very popular also. A/C and power windows car. Here is story: this California car is a 'z' car (400ci) but has 403ci. The lady who bought car new apparently had catastrophic engine failure in 77 under warranty and agreed to service replacement of poncho 400 with Olds 403 which Pontiac used in many of the T/A, Formulas from 77-79.. The California emissions; ie, smog pump, all intact still. Doors open and close nicely. Solid metal. Needs one and two inch patches in a couple places like front of rear wheel wells and trunk pan next to passenger drain plug, and needs passenger footwell pans front and rear. Driver's side pans are solid. See pics. Rockers, rails, tailpanel, roof, cowl, etc, etc solid. Looks like seats are from a 2nd gen Camaro. The shift linkage to t350 was broken so owner's son who I purchased from in Madera had a makeshift cable linkage fed up thru floor console. Car ran and drove when I parked it 2 or 3 yrs ago but had weak fuel pump. Now pump is out apparently because would only stay running today with gas being poured into carb from cup. It should be described to transport company as non-running. Can help with loading. I can deliver in 500 mi radius for $1.00/loaded mile (one way). Clean California title. No Reserve auction.
