Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 93 Calypso Green 5.0 LX. The title and carfax verify this as a 3 owner, including me, low mileage car. The car had seen New Jersey winters and does not seem to have been stored in a garage. I was going to do a full resto on this pony, but due to marriage, a baby coming, a Cuda in the garage and a complete lack of time and space, it isn't going to happen. The car runs and drives fine. Took a 700 mile trip to Pigeon Forge as soon as I got it and had a blast. Temp tags ran out and it has been parked since. Body has a few dings and scratches, but nothing major in my opinion. This is a car that you can fly in and driver her home. There does seem to be a power steering leak. Not big, but when I moved it to get photos, there was a spot on the driveway, No other known leaks. No knocks or smoke. I had planned on retrofitting it with a leather interior and got as far to find a mint leather back seat assembly for it. I also purchased a hard to find Opal Grey hatchback cargo cover which is installed. Overall, a very nice driver, but with the rarity of 5.0 93's that aren't basket cases, it is deserving of a full restoration. This vehicle is sold as is. Serious inquiries only. No tire kickers. Low starting bid and no reserve. Feel free to carfax this Mustang. On Nov-24-10 at 13:15:50 PST, seller added the following information: Power door locks are inoperable. Could be a switch or fuse. too cold to find out. Also, drivers door will not lock with key. It will not push down either. Again, too cold for me to worry about. The new owner can tinker with that. Again, it's a nice pony that is not perfect, but presentable and a fun car to drive. On Nov-25-10 at 05:49:49 PST, seller added the following information: The headers on the car are bbk brand. I do believe they are aftermarket. The exhaust does have the catalytic converters. I can find no curb rash at all on the pony wheels. They seem to have never come near a curb at any time. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them also.On Nov-27-10 at 12:23:04 PST, seller added the following information: The underside pics have been taken and posted. The seam on the drivers front floorbosrd has slight rust, not through as I can tell and the passenger side has slight also as seen in the photos. they are high resolution for detailed analysis. Anything else on the underside is purely surface from what I can tell. I only had space for 3 more pics or else I wold have posted more. The floorboards and what look to be torque boxes are fine and only light scale if any. The calypso green is still present on the undercarriage. Any specific photos will be sent to those that request it. Also, the air bag light is blinking. Any questions, ask.
