1985 Porsche 911 Targa I am selling my personal Porsche. I purchased this car from my brother in 1989 and it only have 2985 miles at that time. My brother bought this car new in 1985 as a "grey market import" in Tampa FL. I still have all those papers. Since 1989 I have used this car practically everyday The mileage is all highway miles from the NJ turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Interstates. This car has been well maintained and the mileage is in excess of 227,000. This is all original. No engine work was ever done, other than plugs and ignition wires. The oil was changed every 7,000 -9,000 miles as per required . Note the engine has a 13 quart oil sump because it is an air cooled engine. In that time the following work was done: It is a Euro Car and has more horsepower than USA 1985 911s. The Vin Number is wp0zzz01zfs140131 ( Autocheck verified this number but the eBay listing kad trouble with it) It is a 3.2 liter flat 6. No accidents or other body work (so all panels and Vins match). Original paint. (Hard to believe how good this paint is for a 25 plus year old car. ) Recently had the Targa Top rebuilt by one of NJ's top 911 mechanics Only a few door dings from parking lots. Items with issues: A/C - never worked, aftermarket A/C unit installed in FL . One seat switch non working Dampers that hold hood and engine lid open. Seat's leather worn. Mats worn. Rollbar paint has crinkled from Carolina's hot summer. Stone chips on air dam under front bumper. This is a very high mileage car and I make no warranties on anything.
