This Pilot is in great condition, the frame is rust free, damage free, and straight, as is the roll cage, front and rear suspension. It is very original, NOT cut up or modified it runs fantastic is very tight and is clean. No disappointments or stories on this rare machine originally costing over $6000 in 1989 (honda civic cost $9000) and engineered with the highest level of performance and extreme safety......even to todays standards!! This thing is a technical marvel that will probably never be produced again. It starts easily, idles correctly and runs out perfectly. It steers straight and true and the brakes work as per factory new. This is the fastest pilot I have had (of 3 great running Pilots). All the body panels are original as is the paint. The front bumper has a dent and guard has a bruise but quite usable. Some of the plastic panels have some burnish marks and scratches from brush and such and the right rear has a crack, as does the front right has a small crack, purely cosmetic. The seat has a small crack. Inside exhaust shield is not on. Most all parts including the body panels are readily available from Honda. IMHO since these are meant to be fast fun, I saw no reason to put all new panels on only to scratch them the first time out. The RH mirror is missing, LH is great. Also included is the full Service Manual CD. Here is the run down: * ALL Electrical items work perfectly, period. * New front tie rods * New front steering knuckles (4) * New front steering bushings * Front end properly aligned (1/4" toe in) * New AMS front wheels * Original tires are in good condition. I will include 2 front and 2 rear tires with the sale/all 4 in v-good to excellent * Front brakes have excellent pad thickness have a fresh bleed and adjustment and work perfect * New rear Carbon Kevlar pads and fresh bleed - all bleed with Dot 4. * Emergency brake adjusted and work perfect * Top end done W/Weisco piston * New drive belt * New battery * Fresh Mobil 1 in engine and clutch * There are no Leaks and the engine does not smoke * All the safety netting is in great shape / no tears This pilot is quite original, not cut up or modified, it runs fantastic very tight and is clean.
