This is a mint 1992 Mustang Feature car sold by Ford in 1992 to help boost sales. "One hot feature car that will steam up your showroom windows" was the quote from Ford.This is one of only 2,019 ever made. The Feature car package added: The options that make this car unique are as follows: Vibrant Red Paint. No other 1992 Mustang was offerred in this color. The mirrors are body color compared to black on the non-feature car The moldings on the top of the doors (called the upper door belt molding) are body color instead of black The moldings along the top of the rear quarter panel (called the quarter panel outer belt upper molding) are body color The trim around the front windshield is body color Rear spoiler (referred to as a Sports Rear Wing) in place of the standard luggage rack. White leather interior with white seats with black piping, white door panels. Black carpeting and black dash treatment. Black headliner (the first ever offered on Mustang convertible) White 5-spoke 16 inch wheels. These wheels were prepared by Superior Wheel Company of Kansas. Opal pearlescent (opalescent) paint was baked on over the silver finish for a white appearance. The manufacturers suggested retail price for the feature convertible option was $850. This pretty example only has 20,000 miles on the odometer, and its verifed by some letters from the previous owner. It has new tires, and a Motorcraft battery and thats about it. Its ALL original, aside from fluids of course. The top, interior, paint, everything is bone stock. Even the radiator hose has 1992 stamped on it. This is the closest thing to going back in time and buying one. Originally sold by Moore Henry Ford in 1992, it was purchased by an elderly couple, who only used it as a parade car. When I purchased this car in 2007, it had 12,000 miles on it. Paint is nice and clear, drivers seat shows some wear, passenger and rear seats are like new. Carpet is good, dash is perfect.This car drives straight as an arrow, and it could run all day long no problem. This car does not leak a drop of fluid, No check engine lights on the dashboad, no squeeks, rattles ect. Cassette player works, Car has always been babied. Oil changed every 2,000 miles or 6-months.
