Restoration Ready 1973 Honda CL-350 Located in Harrisburg, PA, 17103 ... For auction is this 1973 Honda CL 350. Started as a father & son project earlier this spring, a change in employment forces the sale of this fine classic motorcycle. It is being sold as a project bike in need of restoration. Do not expect it to be in showroom condition or cosmetically perfect. It was in running condition when we started the project, but is now in a state of unfinished restoration that will need to be completed by the next owner before it can be put back on the road. Included with this sale are the following new items already purchased but not yet installed: New tires and inner tubes New tachometer & speedometer cables New throttle and clutch cables The following items are needed to restore this bike to roadworthy condition: Gas tank & fuel lines need to be cleaned & flushed New spark plug wires need to be installed Turn signals need to be connected Brake shoes need to be replaced Carbs need to be cleaned All fasteners should be be checked and tightened or replaced If you are planning a full restoration, there will also be some cosmetics that will need attention. We do not have a title for this vehicle, but will sign-over a notarized bill of sale from the original owner to the next buyer. For a 37 year old motorcycle it is in fair to good cosmetic condition, about average for its age, with some light rust and pitting on the chrome and polished surfaces and minor scratches on the painted surfaces consistent with the vehicle's age and use. The exhaust pipe and muffler are intact with no visible rust-through. The engine cases and cylinders are in good condition with light staining of the cases and no cracked or broken fins. The side covers are in good condition and are not cracked or broken. The gas tank is in good condition with no major dents or dings. The headlight and instruments are intact and in good condition. New tires, tubes, cables and hand levers are included in the sale SHIPPING & DELIVERY This motorcycle is located in central Pennsylvania, in the Harrisburg area and is offered as pick-up only. Buyers from outside the immediate area are welcome to bid with the understanding that it is up to you to arrange crating and shipping if you are the winning bidder. I will deliver this bike anywhere within 100 miles of Harrisburg, PA for a charge of 50 cents per loaded mile provided full payment is received in advance for the total sale price plus estimated mileage. This vehicle is offered as-is, where-is, with no warranty and no returns. It is the buyer's responsibility to restore this motorcycle to safe operating condition and to have it inspected and certified as roadworthy by a licensed mechanic prior to attempting to operate this vehicle on or off-road. This motorcycle is available for pick-up only and is not for sale outside of the lower 48 states. Bids from outside the continental US will be cancelled without notice.
