Vehicle Detail
This is an original, unmolested matching numbers 1969 Mach 1. The car comes standard with Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, 351W 4 Barrel, Fold Down Rear Seat, Original Mach 1 Wheels, Cruise-O-Matic A/T, and a LOW RESERVE! Wow, what a find! Up for bid with a LOW RESERVE is a beautiful Black Jade Mach 1 Mustang. This car has three owners in its 40 year history and is nearly original in condition. This unique Mach 1 also comes with original documentation, including the original factory invoice, the original owners manual, original 1969 Mustang brochure, Ford warranty letter and a full set of shop manuals. This Mach 1 is ready to go. While it is not perfect, it is in very good condition and would make an excellent candidate for a restoration. It appears to still be finished in the original Black Jade Metallic. This is also an early Mach 1 with a build date of November 26, 1968. It was owned, garage kept and lovingly maintained by the first owner for 35 years. The second owner had the car for less than 4 months. For the past 5 plus years, it has been garage kept by the third owner, and driven sparingly on weekends. Less than 500 miles have been driven in the past 5 years! Take a look at the long list of FEATURES and OPTIONS that this awesome Mach 1 has: Original M-Code 351W FMX Automatic Transmission Power Steering Power Front Disc Brakes Rim Blow Deluxe Steering Wheel (still works) Factory Styled Steel Mach 1 Wheels Goodyear Eagle ST Tires Sport Deck Rear Seat Factory Dual Quad Exhaust Factory Shoulder Belts Color-Keyed Racing Mirrors Mach 1 Hood with Turn Signals Original Mach 1 Spare Tire Mach 1 Deluxe Interior Original 4 Barrel Carburetor and Manifold Original Trunk Mat Original Documents and Invoice The DATA PLATE breaks down as follows: VIN: 9R02M125267 (1969 San Jose-built SportsRoof Mach 1 with 351 4V V-8 Engine: Consecutive unit number 125267) Body 63C: SportsRoof Mach 1, Deluxe Interior Color C5: Black Jade Metallic with Flat Black Hood Trim 3A: Black Vinyl & Black Knit Vinyl, Mach 1 Luxury Interior Date 25L: Born November 25, 1968 DSO 74: Seattle, WA Axle 9: 3.25:1 Conventional Trans X: FMX Automatic The body is in good condition. The car looks great, and is very straight. It is very solid, but there are a few tiny dings and paint chips that have been touched up. There are also a few rust bubbles forming near the rear right tail light. All of the blemishes are very minor for a 40 year old car. The paint appears to be the original Black Jade and is in good shape. The flat black hood is a bit faded though. The wheels are in good shape, and the tires have about 80% of the tread left. The floors and frame are solid. The interior is in very good shape as well. The carpets and seats are in great shape. There is a small crack in the dashboard, but is largely unnoticeable. There are two small tears in the headliner. The clock doesn't work, nor does the radio, but the rim blow steering wheel still makes plenty of noise. On Nov-15-10 at 20:48:30 PST, seller added the following information: Keep in mind that this is a 41 year old car, and is sold as-is. Additionally, the mileage listed is what the odometer is currently showing, and cannot be verified as original mileage.
