For Sale is a 1938 Ford Deluxe Coupe - Project. It is close to 100% complete. This was a running, driveable car when it was purchased over 30 years ago by the previous owner. He started an amature restoration at that time. The frame is restored to original and painted black. I was told the brakes were upgraded and it has brake lines ran. The motor is not froze up and can be turned over easily. At some point, it was remanufactured by Ford and has a plate stating this on it. As for the body, it was removed and hot tanked and primed. The front floor was removed and a new aftermarket one was made up, but not welded back in. It has rust in the rear floors, trunk tool box area, behind where the front and rear fenders bolt up, and along the bottom edges. The doors, fenders and other sheet metal are solid without holes or rust through. The front fenders are a little rough where the bumper brackets come through. Running boards are rusty but still useable. It doesn't look to have ever been wrecked. This car has been in dry storage for most of the last 30 years. The one picture where the car is all together is how it looked 30 years ago before it was disassembled for restoration. The car has a clear title and would be a good project to restore, street rod, or build a traditional hot rod. The Buyer is responsible for pickup and it will need to be trailered, as it is not running and is apart and not drivable. The car is NOT operational or street legal.
