Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 67 X6. It is in original condition. I ride it several times a month so the mileage will change slightly from what is shown on the odometer. The engine was rebuilt approx. 2000 miles ago. This included new pistons/rings, rods, crankpins, bearings, seals, gaskets and seals. I also had the 1st/5th gear set transmission upgrade kit (from 1968 on) installed. It also has electronic ignition, which greatly increases starting and reliability.I have always liked premix best so this bike does not have the oil injections operational. I have all the parts, though, if you prefer to restore oil injection. It has the bung style filler cap, no threads. Over time these shrink some so I have a viton o ring on the cap to insure it is tight. I have extra cables, a complete tool kit and a factory manual included. It has the tire pump and hose, thought the pump has a small dent in it, I have it turned so it is not visible. I have tried to show the condition with pictures. It is not restored. The paint is original and does show some fading. The only thing that does not work is the tach. I am not sure if it is in the cable or drive at the engine, but it started acting up about 500 miles ago so I disconnected the cable at the headlight and capped it off. The front fender has a small dent in it and the side panels have some small scratches where a POV tried to buff them out? Overall it is good looking, starts 1-2 kicks and runs very strong. It shifts good but I am always careful shifting it as these had fragile transmissions. As for the electronic ignition, if you want to restore it to points you would need a new points backing plate and restore some of the original wiring. I like electronic the best. It will need carb rebuild kits (floats stick once in a while). Tires are good, chain/sprockets are good. If you want any detailed pics please e-mail me and i will do my best. Why? i want another old bike and I have a single car garage so it has to go. I will not crate the motorcycle so you will have to arrange for a shipping company to pick up or pick it up locally.
