1966FORDMUSTANG289 V8 ( HIGH PERFORMANCE) Up for auction is my 66 mustang. This car is in excellent condition considering the age and the price I am asking for it. This car runs and drives great with no issues. It handles the road great just like a mustang should. The steering is not power but is in great shape. ENGINE : The engine is the original 289 but has been rebuilt and has had a pretty good size cam put in it. I dont know what size cam it is becuase it was in it when I bought the car. the car has headers and runs into flowmasters. The engine does have a pretty good lope to it becuase of the cam and does sound really good with the headers and the flowmasters. TRANSMISSION : The transmission is a stock FJX 3 speed. It is in great working order and shifts fine into all gears. This is not the origanal trans. REAR END : The rear end is a posi track with 300 gears. It came out of a newer model mustang cobra. BODY : The body has new paint on it but the body work was not completely perfect before it was painted. You don't notice it unless you get right up on it and it is not bad at all. look closely in the pics and you can see the spot i am talking about. Other than that the body is all original. The floor pans are in descent shape in the front but the back ones are starting to rust out and will need to be replaced before too long. BRAKES : The car still has drum brakes all the way around however they are all brand new and the car stops great.
