This is my weekend car, I have owned it for 3 plus years. It has been a wonderful fun little convertible, I am only selling because I just sold my 545i as well so I could buy an M Roadster, sort of downsizing but upgrading. I have loved this car. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. It drives great, runs great, looks great. There is a flaw here or there consistent with age. The body is exceptionally clean as its been garaged its lifetime until 4 motnhs ago when I moved. Power seats, it is the 2.8 liter 6cyl. Automatic transmission. Shifts very smooth and is quite powerful. Always properly maintained. I am pretty picky and over the 3 years I have owned her I have kept up with small things. There are no suprises with this car. Tires are around 50%. I keep her freshly waxed and detailed. Power top. Flaws: The floor mats are a little staine. I do have an extra set in the trunk. They would probably clean up but I just havent tried. The windows roll down slowly when the temp outside is cold, which is very common with Z3's. The plastic clips the wondows track in get dry, so I bought the new plastic clips and just need to put them in. I have the clips in hand. The is a a small wear spot on the top where the drivers glass hits it from opening/closing the door. Its outside the stitch so its purely cosmetic. The top is power, sometimes I have to assist it on the way DOWN by pushing in a tad on one of the pivot points. Nothing major, has been like that since i boughtit, and I have had it up and down probably 100 times. For some reason around 45 mph there is a little movement (about 3/8 inch) in the steering wheel, but it smooths out at highway speeds. The dealer said its the tires, but they just arent worn out enough to justify changing. It really isnt a big deal, but i beleive in full disclosure. The paint is exceptional. The front bumper has some marks consistent with age. The car has never been wrecked or painted. I toyed with the idea, and even got an estimate of paying a local body shop $300 to re- paint the front bumper, because the car is so clean over all and its the only part that shows any wear. But, it really is fairly minimal and I am probably too picky. But if you want it done I can drop it off and get it taken care of for you. That would make the exterior a10/10. There are really only 4 owners, this car has gone back and forth in my family a few times, we have all enjoyed it :) On Nov-12-10 at 07:49:18 PST, seller added the following information: Someone asked me to time the wondows so I did. Its 70 degrees here today and they went down at 3 and a half seconds. That seems normal to me, but I know they go slower when its colder out. The solution is to replace the clips in the window track or re/grease. I have the clips, I just haven't installed. I pressure washed the floor mats and they look MUCH better. :) Kind of annoyed I never did it previously lol. YES the top works fine, it just occasionally needs a little push at one of the pivot points. Its very easy. Common with these cars per the forums. The front bumper looks fine, just has some spots on it consistent with having 12 years on her. But it is the only part of the car that doesnt look exceptional.
