Ford F-250 1996 Four wheel Drive Plow truck!! Up for Sale is my 1996 Truck. Starts up every time with no problems. No warning or check engine lights. Truck needs to have seals in transmission. Looks like a leak from where motor connects to the transmission. It will run in foward and reverse but has a constant drip from that area. This is the reason I am selling. I do not have the tools to complete this task and have other plow trucks so I can get by without this one. Truck body is in very good shape panels, bed doors are not rusted, no rust holes in body see the pictures!!! I did not wash so please overlook the surface dirt, The rear bumper is not the factory bumper it must have been changed out before I was the owner. It look to be and older one that does have rust on it. The front bumper has a few small spots that look like they are from changing the plow out. they can be wiped clean thats how minor they are. I just did not want to try and hide anything so I did not do. Interior of this truck is in great shape no holes or rips in seat, see pictures to know what you are getting... Door handle on passanger side is missing - broke easy fix just plastic handle that has one screw in it common f-250 problem this model. Crack in windsheild see the picture, also tailgte works, you just need to squeeze behind the handle the plactic that holds the two rods broke . easy fix also another common problem. looks lie the 5.8 gas motor. I have not used a/c for quite some time may need a charge. I DO NOT HAVE THE PLOW FOR THIS TRUCK OR INSIDE CONTROLS. JUST FRAME ON THE TRUCK... IT WAS SOLD ALREADY BUT EASY TO FIND ONE ON CRAIGS LIST OR EBAY THAT WILL FIT. THE FRAME IS THE HARD ONE to locate and EXPENSIVE BUT ITS ALL SET ON THIS TRUCK! Tires are very worn and needs replacement before truck is put into service. I would also check for exhaust leaks truck does not sound loud but there could be something this one is just a bit louder then my other F 250 but not by much... Not sure how far or if its good to drive the truck with transmission leak It does move quite well but may use alot of fluid. Fluid is leaking onto exhaust so it may also be dangerous?? not sure if Transmission fluid will burn if hot enough. would recommend using a tow dolly or tow truck for transport if not local.
