The first high-performance car with permanent all-wheel drive and a 0 to 100 km/h time of 7.1 seconds. With road-holding untouchable at the time and rarely equalled since. What does "ur" mean? In German it means "original". Original Quattro In the intervening years it has become a much-loved classic. It rewrote the rally rule book - today, four-wheel drive and turbocharging is standard in World Rally Championship cars. This was the beginning of the spectacular Group B cars. The “Godfather” of the modern day Subaru STI and Mitsubishi EVO. Not particularly fast by modern standards (0-60 in just over 7 seconds) but extremely usable torque band once rolling makes this a fantastic companion. Flat cornering, great stability and body control. Wonderful image - really appeals to those who know what it is (a large number owing to its rally heritage). This survivor has traveled only 91,000 miles from new. It is a US model originally sold in Ohio.The car does not run,need fuel problem sorted out. Mechanically it is completely stock with zero modifications or improvements,all original except for the front bumper it is a very rare Treser front bumper with headlight washers installed.Also the original wheels are missing it has aftermarket BBS wheels.Car has some rust but nothing mayor mostly surface rust. Spare wheel has never been used and the jack is still in its original place. Pictures speak for themselves.
